El seu objectiu \u00e9s aconseguir m\u00e9s estalvi d&#8217;aigua. La presa de l&#8217;aigua la fem amb un emissor autocompensant (pot ser de 15 a 60 litres que t\u00e9 la funci\u00f3 de cabal\u00edmetre). Quan el polsador (una mena de calder\u00ed min\u00fascul) s&#8217;omple, s&#8217;obre la v\u00e0lvula antidrenant per la pujada de la pressi\u00f3, que en conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia provoca tirada de l&#8217;aigua. La intermit\u00e8ncia de la seva expulsi\u00f3 (cicles de polsos) \u00e9s m\u00e9s r\u00e0pida que en els aspersors assegurant-se una pluviometria gaireb\u00e9 constant, que en alguns casos, sembla cont\u00ednua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>El sistema pot ser de cobertura total o localitzat.
